ABOUT THE EMBASSY

The Embassy of Nigeria, Khartoum is the official diplomatic mission of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in Sudan. The embassy is responsible for strengthening diplomatic relations between Nigeria and Sudan while providing consular and immigration services to Nigerians and foreign nationals. Its core functions include visa processing, passport issuance and renewal, emergency travel certificate services, document authentication, citizen assistance, investment promotion, and travel advisory services.

The embassy also represents Nigeria’s national interests abroad by promoting bilateral cooperation in areas such as trade, education, culture, regional integration, peace, and international diplomacy. It helps protect the welfare of Nigerian citizens living in or traveling to Sudan and supports lawful migration and diplomatic engagement between the two countries.

Main services provided by the mission include:

  2. International passport issuance and renewal.
  3. Emergency Travel Certificate (ETC).
  4. Document verification and legalization.

The embassy is located at El-Mek Nimir Avenue, 17 Macnimer Street, Khartoum, Sudan, and operates under the supervision of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Nigeria.
